Interior Car Auto Detailing Checklist

Preparation

Gather all necessary supplies (cleaning solutions, microfiber cloths, brushes, vacuum, etc.)

Ensure the car is parked in a shaded area

Remove all personal items from the car

Vacuuming

Vacuum seats, carpets, and floor mats

Use a crevice tool to reach tight spaces

Vacuum the trunk area

Cleaning Surfaces

Wipe down the dashboard, center console, and door panels with a microfiber cloth

Use a brush to clean air vents

Clean and condition leather seats (if applicable)

Clean fabric seats with an appropriate cleaner

Wipe down all plastic and vinyl surfaces

Front Seats (Driver & Passenger)

Back Seats (Bench or Individual)

Steering Wheel and Dashboard 

Windows and Mirrors

Clean interior windows with a glass cleaner

Wipe down mirrors

Floor Mats

Remove and clean floor mats

Allow mats to dry completely before placing them back in the car

Apply a fresh scent or air freshener

Double-check all areas for missed spots

Replace all personal items
