Lawn Cutting

Inspect The Lawn: Check for debris, rocks, and branches that could damage your mower or cause injury.

Mower Maintenance: Ensure your mower is in good working condition. Check oil levels, clean the air filter, and sharpen the blades.

Set Mower Height: Adjust the mower height to the recommended level for your grass type. Generally, 2.5 to 3 inches is ideal.

Mow When Dry: Cut your lawn when the grass is dry to prevent clumping and uneven cuts.

Follow a Pattern: Mow in different directions each time to prevent soil compaction and promote even growth.

Edge and Trim*: Use an edger or trimmer to clean up the edges and hard-to-reach areas.

Clean Up: Remove grass clippings or use a mulching mower to return nutrients to the soil

Inspect for Issues: After mowing, check for signs of pests, diseases, or weeds that need attention.

Following this checklist ensures a healthy, well-maintained lawn.
