Deep Cleaning Checklist

Suppose you are new to cleaning or need a refresher on what to expect from a deep cleaning. We have a checklist below to help you keep in mind when doing a deep cleaning as part of the Ezi platform. This guide can be adapted to your preference and is a guideline for an easy and smooth start.

Equipment: Steam-mop, Vacuum, Mop, Cleaning Gloves, Paper Towels, Eco-friendly all-surface cleaner

Priorities: Start with the more difficult rooms and tasks, typically the kitchen and bathrooms. They will generally take at least an hour to 2 hours. Other rooms can take 45 minutes. Spending more time in some rooms should only happen if a client requests extra care for a particular room. This checklist is ordered by priority order. You may skip non-applicable items.

Before any cleaning, make sure to walk through it with the client, discuss what you will be doing, which rooms will be cleaned, and ask any questions you may have. If they are busy with other tasks, this may be the only time you have access to them.

After cleaning, walk through it with the client and ensure they are satisfied with the work—or fix it before leaving. Remind them to review you on the app and mention you in any reviews. Reviews affect which jobs you can see and claim in the future.

Tip: Open this page when cleaning and check it as you go; the finalized list will be stored until your subsequent use.
